Todd is the current president of the Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association, a post he has held for more than 10 years. He works full-time in marketing while also writing film reviews for FrontRow — the online entertainment section of D Magazine — and for Cinemalogue.com.
He has been a film critic since 1993 at newspapers including the Denton Record-Chronicle, and the defunct Irving News and Mid-Cities News. He also has done film reviews for the Hartman Newspapers chain and the Irving Community Television Network.
A native of Minnesota, Todd holds a bachelor of arts degree in radio, television and film production from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
A veteran of more than 20 years in journalism, he is the former managing editor of three publications and an ex-staff writer in the sports department at The Dallas Morning News, Todd also has written on a freelance basis for the Washington Post and Boston Globe, among others. He is a listed Tomatometer critic at Rotten Tomatoes.
